Finding feeds

I have found this section boring and unuseful to me - I tried to do a search regarding public libraries and reader development and found zero in all suggested sites. Not useful for research purposes and not sure what I could actually use this for? Maybe I am too cynical as I am not really into the rss feeds anyway. Sorry to all those that find this interesting!! maybe I can be enlightened and the light bulb will go on but until then I probably won't be looking.
